Establishing site settings You can set application-wide preferences in several site and network categories or establish the same settings for a specific site. Site-specific settings override application preferences. The network preference categories are FTP Server and WebDAV. The site categories are filename constraints, status, clean up site, export, upload, and design colors. You can also establish site-specific settings for URL Mappings. To set an application-wide preference: 1 Choose Edit > Preferences. 2 Expand Site or Network preferences ( 3 Click a Site or Network category and set preferences for it. 4 Click OK. To establish a site-specific setting: 1 Open a site. 2 Click the Site Settings button ( 3 Click a category in the left panel. 4 Select Site Specific Settings, and establish settings as necessary. 5 Click OK. To set a preference or establish a site-specific setting indirectly: 1 Display a dialog box that provides a Set as Default option--for example, the Clean Up Site Options dialog box. 2 Select options as appropriate and click Set as Default. If there are site settings for the active site corresponding to the options, they are automatically set.
